About ReLax Collections

ReLax is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing new and used equipment to underserved students across the United States and the globe. ReLax was founded in 2014 and is completely comprised of volunteers. The ReLax mission has three main pillars:

  • Academics

    Playing a team sport, like lacrosse, encourages discipline, teamwork, leadership, and goal-setting. By providing students with equipment we allow them to learn and grow these skills outside of the classroom and on the playing field.

    Lacrosse as a sport has incredibly high barriers to entry. ReLax seeks to minimize these barriers by providing free high-quality equipment to underserved athletes and creating elite performance gear at reasonable prices.

    Equitable Lacrosse 

  • Sustainability

    Perfectly good equipment shouldn't end up in a landfill. ReLax prevents unnecessary waste by refurbishing used gear and recycling broken equipment. ReLax has prevented over 5 garbage trucks worth of gear from entering landfills.

    ReLax has collected millions of dollars worth of gear over the past decade. Donations come from schools, individual players, companies, and the Premier Lacrosse League.

    Our mission is to spread access to the game of lacrosse across the United States and the globe. ReLax has equipped hundreds of teams and thousands of athletes.
